![]() The thing about the v6 timing chain measuring blocks is they are surely only useful if you are buying a car - as 99% of people wont want to spend £3K and the incidental extras needing doing by replacing the timing chains on a 15-20 year old car valued at £3-£4K. The full version works on virtually every VAG vehicle the Cable can change protocol - my fake 13.99 version says it is a CAN Hex 2 lead but it doesn't connect to a Mark 6 Golf - the cable only works if accessing via KKL. The $99 dollar registration is to allow a personal user to use most of the features in VAG COM in the VCDSLite installation, but as David has pointed out it is limited to using the KKL Lead still and only in our generation of ECU (Golf Mark 4, Audi S3 8L / TT 8N, Seat and Skoda of the similar generation.
